Mains and volt free relay AT-012

About the mains and volt free relay

The mains and volt free double relay is designed to switch mains from the activation of a Reed switch or any low current rated switch that is mains rated.

It also has a set of single pole relay contacts that provide mains voltage when activated and a set of volt free change over contacts for such applications as triggering a communicator.

Features:

The mains and volt free relay will only activate when the contacts on the Switch input are closed. Mains voltage will then appear on the ‘Mains Out’ terminals and the clean contacts will change over.

The switch terminal current is so low (<8mA) that a normal reed switch will be suitable to activate both relays.

Caution: the reed switch terminals are at Mains potential.
